🌈Resilience is the ability to deal with life and circumstances as they come. It is the ability to adapt appropriately to changes and difficulties despite any weaknesses or fears.
🎯Through this open therapy group teens build resilience skills.
🎯Applies to teenagers (12+) with anxiety, sadness, social difficulties and emotional management problems.
📢Ice Breaker Activity: We drew an element of nature, which reminds us of resilience. We each explained how the process made us feel and how our design relates to resilience.
Afterwards, we all tried to associate the painting with ourselves, to identify with its characteristics.
(💭Food for thought) Most teenagers reported that they do not consider themselves to have resilient characteristics, but would like to acquire them.
🌈The therapeutic team consists of the clinical psychologist of our center, Dr. Maria Kontouli, the school psychologist of our center Sofia Pelletie and the Counselling Psychologist of our center Silouanos Charalambous.
