Ms Maria Mina is a qualified teacher with M.A in Special and Inclusive Education. She is a graduate of the IOE / UCL University of London, with a master’s degree in Special and Inclusive Education (Department of Psychology). Maria’s dissertation focuses on special needs provision in Cyprus, based on her in depth interviews with Cypriot families for which she gained a distinction.

She has an interest and years of experience in Special Educational Needs (evaluation, special/tailored intervention programs) and Learning Difficulties. Her experience includes 3 years teaching in special education classes in primary and secondary state schools in England. Maria had additional training in autism including ABA and intensive interaction.  She has also worked in public special education units, supporting children with autism, specific learning difficulties, ADHD, cognitive disorders and speech/language and behavioral difficulties. Within the framework of continuous training and follow-up in the field of Special Needs and Education, she has attended and continues to attend specialized trainings, seminars, conferences and workshops. Maria has shown to have a natural ability to bond with students gaining their trust and helping them to reach their full potential.
