Dr. Zoe Kyprianou, is a consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, and currently a collaborator at Resilient Lives Centre.

She graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Medicine – University of Belgrade( Serbia ). She worked in Cyprus in various medical health facilities ( Limassol General Hospital and former Achilleion Private Hospital) as a General Practitioner until the beginning of  her medical specialty in 2007.

She has obtained her medical specialty degree with excellence at the Child Psychiatric Clinic of Athens Medical School at the Children General Hospital “Agia Sophia”. During her training period she had the opportunity to become an expert in the assessment and treatment of all Child Psychiatric Disorders, including ADHD, Autism, Anxiety and Mood Disorders as well as other common disorders.

She participated in many conferences and seminars regarding mental health. At the 28th Panhellenic Psychiatric Conference, she participated with two e-posters. The first was on a case of a teenage girl with Anorexia Nervosa and Lupus Erythematosus and the second on  the correlation and investigation between the Autoimmune Diseases and the Eating Disorders.

She is also experienced in the safe and appropriate use of Psychopharmacology.

She is highly interested in the principles of Family Therapy and her goal is to become a Family therapist also.  Currently she is attending the 3rd year of a 6th year programme of Systemic- Existential Psychotherapy at the “Antistixis” Institute at Athens – Greece, under the supervision of Dr. D.Karagiannis and Dr. E.Karagianni ( Child Psychiatrists and Psychotherapists).

At Resilient Lives Centre she is  part of the treatment program of the Department of Eating Disorders. The goal of our program is to empower and support people who experience serious physical and psychological difficulties that are related to eating disorders.

Dr. Zoe Kyprianou is married and has two children, twin girls.
