Mrs. Irina Michaelidou is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Cyprus. She obtained her BSc in Psychology from the University of Nicosia and an MSc in Clinical Psychology, also from the University of Nicosia. Her master’s thesis focused on “Psychosocial Adjustment in Adopted Children and Adolescents: Contributing Risks and Protective Factors.”

During her clinical practice, she has provided psychological services in various settings, including The Center for Research and Counseling Services (KESY), the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF), and the Psychiatric Hospital in Athalassa. For the last few years, she has worked in private practice, providing psychological services to individuals facing mood and anxiety disorders from various cultural and professional backgrounds.

Mrs. Irina focuses on psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults dealing with various psychological challenges, such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, and personality disorders, among others. As part of her clinical practicum and professional experience, she has worked with individuals using techniques and therapeutic plans based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy.
